The School of Medicene invites faculty from the College of Liberal Arts, as well as external speakers, to establish a special series of lectures on Medical Humanities, Arts, and Philosophy. In the academic year 2023, courses on the themes of Medical Humanities, Arts, and Philosophy were introduced in both the fall and spring semesters. The topics covered include medical history, the intersection of art and medical education, life education, ethics, music, literature, and mental health. Additionally, students are required to attend at least two performances during The Siziwan Art Festival and write reflective reports to enhance their exposure to artistic and humanistic influences.
